Hello, everyone. Thanks for visiting isyong's website. The name is Melecio Cervantes Ubilas, Jr., a 32-year-old man who has nothing but a big heart. I was born on March 2, 1975 in the City of Malaybalay, Bukidnon. I gained my primary education at the Airport Village Elementary School. I also finished my high school at the Bukidnon National High School. After enrolling in BS Civil Engineering, and made shifts from AB Political Science to AB Sociology, I finally earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree at the Mindanao State University Main Campus, Marawi City.

As a Social Worker, my first employment was with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office 10 in Cagayan de Oro City where i worked as a Community Organizer. I was then assigned in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. After that, I worked as an assistant development facilitator at the Department of Agrarian Reform in their special project called Support to Agrarian Reform Communities in Central Mindanao (STARCM). I was based in Iligan City where our sub-office was situated. My areas of assignment were in the Agrarian Reform Communities of Iligan City and Lala, Lanao del Norte. In search for greener pasture, I sent application letters to the DSWD Field Office 1 and 5, and to a USAID project based in Iligan City who simultaneously responded to my application. I was in San Manuel, Pangasinan at that time where my parents used to live. Infact, my father grew in that town. So, I went to the nearest pasture, the DSWD Field Office I where i was hired as Assistant Regional Coordinator of the CIDSS project which i used to work as a community organizer in Lugait, Misamis Oriental. After two years, I was given a permanent appointment as the Human Resource Management Officer II. At present, I am already a Social Welfare Officer IV heading the Institutional Development Unit.

 I live in Cabaroan, Bacnotan, La Union with my beautiful and loving wife, Cha, and our princess Ruth Khyryssa who just turned 3 and is now attending nursery at the Harvest Baptist Learning Center.
